Welcome to Samoa Victim Support Group
We are your Family.
The Samoa Victim Support Group Incorporated (SVSG) is a proactive non-governmental organization established in 2005 with the focus of supporting victims of crime and vulnerable members of Samoa’s society.
SVSG seeks to protect and promote the rights of women, children and vulnerable population, specifically the right to be free from abuse.
SVSG believes that greater awareness of human rights will provide civil society with the knowledge to ensure these rights are upheld.
With your support, we can help build safer families and stronger communities in Samoa.

What we do
SVSG was established in 2005 with a mission to provide integrated, personalized, professional services for victims of crime. Our vision is that victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse are well-supported, safe, and in control of restoring their lives. SVSG also seeks to protect and promote the rights of children specifically the right to be free from abuse. SVSG believes that greater awareness of the rights of children will provide civil society with the knowledge and tools to ensure these rights are upheld.
We have been working hard with the help of sponsors, partners, and volunteers to aid survivors, especially our women and children.
Initially set up to care, support, and help victims of sexual crimes, SVSG saw after the first few cases it handled that victims of other areas also sought to get help. As such, work has extended to embrace survivors of all forms of violence, and we are dedicated to funding and delivering sustainable livelihoods to those in need. We strive to protect, inspire and improve the lives of all who come into our care.
The initiatives driven by our phenomenal President and CEO Lina Chang have seen SVSG develop stability, strength, and a game-changing force to be reckoned with, both in Samoa and overseas where countless victims of crime have received help. We believe that a strong, proud and successful community does not tolerate any form of violence against women and children.
You can help make a contribution and support our causes by giving a little and making a small donation.
